Startup Europe Smart Agrifood Summit will hold its third call on September 24 and 25 after the success achieved in the 2018 and 2019 editions that brought together more than 1,200 professionals including entrepreneurs, investors, startups, companies and institutions linked to innovation and digitalization of the agri-food sector from 19 different countries each year.

The event will have a specialized content program to advance trends around large areas of work such as food safety, opportunities derived from disruptive technologies -blockchain, big data or robotics-, the exploration of new businesses or environmental development and the circular economy, among others.

One of the main keys of the Startup Europe Smart Agrifood Summit is to promote the creation of links between companies, universities, startups and investors with potential collaborators and European and Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems, with the aim of generating business and networking opportunities. In this way, in 2019 it favored the holding of more than a thousand work meetings and enabled a business volume of more than 200 million euros. In this way, Startup Europe Smart Agrifood Summit is aimed at agricultural entities, companies in the agri-food industry or those related to food safety, related technology companies, investors, entrepreneurs, universities, research entities, public administrations, science and technology parks, business accelerators and incubators, among other professionals.

Furthermore, adapting to the current situation, the organization has implemented a rigorous protocol of specific health and safety measures to return with all the guarantees.
