BIOVEGEN-CAJAMAR Conference

The development of technologies from plant biology, such as genetic improvement, is of vital interest for improving the competitiveness of the fruit and vegetable sector. Spain has great scientific and technological potential in this sense, and increasingly has greater support thanks to the work developed by the BIOVEGEN Platform and the public-private collaboration initiatives that are being carried out.

In this context, BIOVEGEN actively collaborates with CAJAMAR COOPERATIVE GROUP through the organization of Technical Conferences in which new technological trends in plant biology and their possibilities are shown, the added value that research brings to the economic activity of the private sector of plant production and how this can stimulate the private sector to undertake R&D activities and collaborations with public research centers. At these conferences, different financing and support tools for the development of R&D projects are also presented.
