Protected: BIOVEGEN Report: Circular Bio-Based Europe (CBE) 2023 Call

On April 20, the 2023 call for the Circular Bio-based Europe (CBE-Joint Undertaking) initiative was opened. The call will dedicate a total of 215.5 million euros to promote bioindustries and circular economy in Europe through 18 themes. The deadline for submitting applications ends September 20, 2023.

CBE's mission is to advance a competitive bioeconomy for a sustainable Europe, in line with the commitments set out in the European Green Deal and the EU Bioeconomy Strategy. To achieve this goal, in 2023, the public-private partnership will finance projects that develop innovative and sustainable bio-based solutions, focusing on these strategic priorities: soil health, industrial biotechnology, bio-based products, biorefinery, waste recovery, chains of integrated value and the improvement of SMEs.
