BIOVEGEN Report: Circular Bio-Based Europe (CBE) Call 2022

The initiative Circular Bio-based Europe (CBE-Joint Undertaking)*, has published his Annual Work Program (AWP2022), which includes information about the 2022 calls. A total of 120 million euros to promote bioindustries and circular economy in Europe through 12 themes. The deadline for submitting applications ends on September 22, 2022.

CBE's mission is to advance a competitive bioeconomy for a sustainable Europe, in line with the commitments established in the European Green Deal and the EU Bioeconomy Strategy. To achieve this goal, in 2022, the public-private partnership will finance projects that develop innovative and sustainable bio-based solutions, focusing on these strategic priorities: raw material (biomass), processing, products, as well as cross-cutting aspects of communication, financing and environmental sustainability.
