GO SIMBIOLIVA celebrates its second webinar
Last June 9th, the “II WEBINAR GO SIMBIOLIVA: new bio-technological solutions for a circular economy of olive pomace”, an event dedicated to presenting the progress of this innovative project during its first period of execution.
During this second webinar, the members of the Operational Group presented the lines of work that have been developed in recent months, addressing key aspects such as climate fluctuations, crop alternate bearing, and intensive production, which cause significant variations in olive oil and pomace production. In this context, The members shared the project's key progress and activities., These projects focus on developing an innovative and natural solution for olive pomace management. Specifically, this innovative solution will combine physicochemical processes with specific treatments using microorganisms to obtain a biofertilizer that contributes to soil protection and strengthens crop resilience.
In addition, the meeting also included a session dedicated to interacting with other Operational Groups and analyzing potential synergies between their areas of focus. On this occasion, the VINEURO Operational Group participated; this project, which recently began its activities, focuses on the sensory quality of wines.
