The Information Day on BIOECONOMY was successfully held: “Call for COLLABORATION CHALLENGES 2016”
On January 26, 2016, the Conference “BIOECONOMY: Call for COLLABORATION CHALLENGES 2016” organized by BIOVEGEN in collaboration with MINECO and ten other Technology Platforms. The event, held on the occasion of the recent publication of the 2016 Collaboration Challenges Call, brought together almost 300 attendees related to the Bioeconomy sector and from the research, business and Administration fields at the MINECO headquarters.

The objective of the event was to promote the participation of researchers and companies in the 2016 COLLABORATION CHALLENGES call through different activities:
- An informative part about the details of the call, with a question-and-answer session in which attendees were able to resolve their doubts about it.
- A block of public presentations of 7 R&D project proposals to present to the RETOS 2016 call
- In parallel, they held 62 bilateral meetings with MINECO technicians in which applicants were able to review and polish aspects related to their R&D proposals.
- Furthermore, and on the occasion of the publication of the 2016 Collaboration Challenges Call, the organizing Platforms have mobilized more than 60 R&D proposals for the search of interests, potential partners and project development.
