INVEGEN participates in the FACCE-JPI Initiative

INVEGEN has collaborated in the European Joint Programming Initiative on Food Security, Agriculture and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI).

The FACCE – JPI is a new European instrument that brings together 21 European countries to work together in order to gain support and promote the integration, alignment and joint implementation of national resources under a common research and innovation strategy. To meet the challenges in agriculture, food security and climate change, the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of the FACCE – JPI has developed a Scientific Research Agenda (see attached file), detailing the objectives and priority lines and actions.

INVEGEN, identified as a “stakeholder”, participated in a consultation, held on March 12, aimed at improving the analysis of the SAB by establishing key aspects, as well as unifying different points of view: purposes, priority topics, priority actions and implementation. With all this, a Strategic Research Agenda will be developed based on the Scientific Research Agenda.
