The Session “Biotechnology for the challenges of the agricultural sector” was successfully held
On April 11, BIOVEGEN held a new meeting of its General Assembly. This meeting was followed by the Session “Biotechnology for the challenges of the agricultural sector” held at the CEOE headquarters (Madrid), where it brought together more than 120 attendees and scheduled more than 100 bilateral meetings among professionals in the agrobiotechnology sector.

The Conference featured high-level speakers who presented the current situation at the legislative level and showed the potential of new genomic and biotechnological tools to address the challenges of the agri-food sector. During the session, a panoramic view of the public and private financing possibilities for the agrobiotechnology sector was also offered to the hundred attendees, contributing to the formation of large science-business consortia that develop innovation projects in response to the challenges of the sector. . The event ended by presenting the new edition of the large international fruit and vegetable fair Fruit Attraction, and the powerful and consolidated Biotech Attraction area aimed at entities with an interest in plant innovation.
