BIOVEGEN participates in “ExpoAgro Canarias, Innovation Fair in the Primary Sector”

BIOVEGEN attended the “ExpoAgro Canarias, Innovation Fair in the Primary Sector” fair that took place from March 11 to 13, 2022 at the Canary Islands Fair Institute (INFECAR) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The event, promoted by the Gran Canaria Economic Promotion Society (SPEGC), had a space aimed at exposing products and services linked to the primary sector, as well as a connection space for professionals in the sector. BIOVEGEN participated with a collaborative stand in which attendees were informed about the activities and services of the Platform. A delegation of R&D-intensive companies, BIOVEGEN partners, was also present at this stand, who were able to make commercial contacts during the development of the Fair. This delegation was made up of ABIOPEP, AlgaEnergy, Biotech Tricopharming Research, EC2CE and Phytoplant Research.

In addition, both BIOVEGEN and the five companies in the delegation had the opportunity to make a presentation on the main stage of the Fair. BIOVEGEN took advantage of this participation to highlight the importance of public-private collaboration in the context of the agri-food sector and to present the MICROCLIMATT Operational Group, a project that seeks to test the effectiveness of microalgae biostimulants and in which the Platform participates.
