On February 15, 2024, the Conference “IBMCP – Science and Technology at the Service of Agriculture” in the Blue Cube Auditorium of the Polytechnic City of Innovation (Valencia). This Conference, organized by the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Plants (IBMCP), the Technological Platform for Plant Biotechnology (BIOVEGEN) and the Cajamar Cooperative Group.
The event aims to make available the knowledge and capabilities of the IBMCP to solve the challenges of companies in the agri-food sector, disseminate the scientific-technological capabilities of the IBMCP and promote science-business projects.
The Conference will allow to publicize the latest advances in genomic editing of crops, new nutrition and plant health treatments, new more efficient and nutritious varieties and the implementation of sustainability in the production chain. In addition, they will be treated transversal aspects of open innovation and technology transfer (innovation ecosystems, accelerators, innovation agents, start ups, investment funds…).
The event is conceived as a tool for developing collaborations and business, so participating professionals will be able to request and maintain bilateral meetings to promote collaborations and projects science-business.
The day will also allow participating professionals to maintain bilateral meetings between bidders and demanders of biotechnology, in previously scheduled meetings that will take place throughout the day in the spaces of networking enabled. The event currently has more than 350 registered professionals from 153 entities in the sector.
