The Industrial and Intellectual Property (IP) It is a key tool for the management and valorization of intangible assets. The evolution of the agri-food sector towards knowledge- and technology-intensive production models has increased its strategic relevance. 

A adequate protection through instruments such as patents, trademarks, plant varieties or trade secrets allows not only to ensure a competitive position in the market, but also facilitate technology transfer, attract R&D investment and participate in business collaboration processes.

Therefore, on this day we will reflect on How to promote an IP culture that contributes to promote innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of the sector.
