BIOCONTROL LATAM 2018 Conference & Exhibition is the largest international event on Biocontrol in Latin America organized by NEW AG INTERNATIONAL, 2BMonthly, IBMA and ASOBIOCOL. This second edition will be held on November 14, 15 and 16, 2018 in Medellín, Colombia.
These conferences will bring together the main international specialists and actors involved with the aim of debating, exchanging and discussing the challenges, opportunities and trends of the biocontrol market worldwide, analyzing in particular the situation in Latin America. A market, that of biocontrol, is booming, thanks to the fact that it is being successfully adopted in a wide range of crops. After the presentations of delegates, exhibitions and open posters, the opening and inauguration of the International Conference will take place by François Levesque, general director of NEW AG INTERNATIONAL, Willem Ravensberg, president of IBMA in Belgium and Nicolas Cock Duque, president of ASOBIOCOL.
During the three intense days that Biocontrol LATAM 2018 Conference & Exhibition lasts, an intense technical-scientific program of conferences, communications and round tables will be developed distributed in 5 sessions: biocontrol in integrated pest management, biocontrol, research and new technologies, business approaches innovators and investment, biocontrol regulator and production and formulation of biocontrols. More than 25 renowned speakers and specialists from 12 countries will participate in the program, addressing the hottest topics in the sector: global biocontrol market; biocontrol market in Latin America; main trends of this industry in Latin America; legislation and regulations, with special emphasis on those of Latin America; biocontrol as a business, adoption by producers and distributors; Do biocontrol and biostimulants go hand in hand? production and formulation of biological products and emerging technologies in microbial products, natural extracts and semiochemicals. In all sessions there will be simultaneous translation (from English to Spanish) for all speakers.
Parallel to the conference, there will be an exhibition space with 36 stands occupied by relevant companies in the sector, their delegates present there will inform about their products and projects on biocontrol. During the conference, different networking sessions will be held where suppliers, clients, advisors, researchers and investors can interact. Face to face communication is key in relationships because it favors and consolidates the creation of alliances between conference attendees.
