GO VINEURO

What is an Operational Group?
An Operational Group (OG) is a group of actors with different profiles, such as farmers, researchers, universities, etc. to be able to jointly address a specific problem or opportunity from a multi-sector approach.
VINEURO Operational Group
This project proposes a redefinition of the concept of wine terroir, broadening its focus beyond traditional soil and climate factors to incorporate the influence of landscape and functional biodiversity on the sensory quality of wines. In the current context of climate change and ecological transition, it is essential to equip winegrowers with innovative tools that allow them to manage their farms sustainably, maintaining or even improving the differentiation and quality of their production.
Goals
- Obtain models of Good Ecosystem Practices (GEP) using Aromatic and Medicinal Plants (AMP) to agronomically improve vineyard cultivation.
- Establish relationships between the different BPE models in vineyards and their impact on the aromatic profile of the must and the wine.
- Quantifying the economic benefit of increased sensory perception through neurotasting and the aromatic profile in wines; and its relationship with BPE,
- Communicate effectively the project's objectives, activities, and results.
