BIOVEGEN report. BIODIVERSA+ call for financing projects on biodiversity and ecosystem protection

The European Biodiversity Association (BiodivERsA+), the Directorate-General for the Environment and the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission have launched their first joint call corresponding to the period 2021-2022, in which aid for Transnational Research Proposals on “Support for biodiversity and protection of ecosystems on land and sea”.

The launch of this call marks, in turn, the official beginning of BiodivERsA+, a new network made up of national and regional financing organizations that promote pan-European research services on biodiversity and ecosystems. Its objective is to offer novel opportunities for the conservation and sustainable management of biodiversity at the European level.

Given the interest that this call may generate in our sector, at BIOVEGEN we have prepared a brief report that summarizes the main characteristics of the call.
