  • DESCRIPTION: The INIA is an autonomous Public Research Organization (OPI), attached to the Secretariat of State of the Secretariat of State for Universities, Research, Development and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. It is the only public research organization dependent on the General Administration of the State dedicated exclusively to agri-food and forestry research. Priority objectives are to satisfy new demands for research related to agricultural, livestock and forestry production, mitigate the effects of climate change and contribute to global food security and the fight against hunger in line with the Millennium Goals.
