- DESCRIPTION: CRAG is an independent organization established as a consortium of four research institutions: the Higher Scientific Research Council (CSIC), the Institute of Agri-Food Research and Technology (IRTA), the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and the University of Barcelona. (UB). CRAG is dedicated to researching the molecular bases of genetic characters of interest in plants and animals, and their applications for breeding.
