BIOVEGEN report. “Summary of the Shock Plan for Science and Innovation”

On July 9, the Government presented the Shock Plan for Science and Innovation. This Plan commits more than 1,000 million euros additional to the funds already planned for the years 2020 and 2021, in a commitment to R&D&I as a driver of technological, economic and social development.

The Plan presents measures to strengthen the research system, boost the innovative capacity of companies and reduce job instability among scientific personnel. More funds will be allocated to calls for projects, contracts for research personnel and scientific equipment and infrastructure. Others will also join €508 million in loans on advantageous conditions to innovative companies.

Given the impact and importance of this Plan in the plant innovation sector, at BIOVEGEN we have prepared a Summary report the main measures, objectives and assigned budget.
