BIOVEGEN report. Calls 2022 SOIL Mission

The EU Missions They are one of the most innovative projects within the research and innovation framework program Europe horizon, which will be developed in the period 2021-2027, through the financing of research and innovation programs with a strong social science component.

One of these missions is Soil Mission, 'A soil agreement for Europe', which aims to establish 100 laboratories and workplaces to lead the transition to healthy soils by 2030.

He Estimated budget for Spain in total for the period (2020-2025) is 4,700,000 euros. On June 30, 2020, the first call was launched, with the projects starting on February 1, 2021, with total funding of 1,144,624 euros. The second call was launched on April 1, 2021, with the projects starting on November 1, 2021, with a total financing of 2,475,819 euros. 

ON May 12, 2022, the third and final call of the Soil Mission was called: “Research and Innovation actions to support the implementation of the Soil health and Food Mission”, with deadline for project submission until September 27, 2022.
