BIOVEGEN report. NEOTEC 2024 Program Call

On April 3, the Presidency of the Center for Technological Development and Innovation EPE (CDTI) approved the 2024 Call for the NEOTEC program, with a maximum total amount of €20 million this call aimed at innovative technology-based companies. The aid will be granted through the CDTI, a Public Business Entity, attached to the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Furthermore, within the available budget, will reserve a minimum amount of €5 million for companies led by women.

The objective of this call is to comment on technology and innovation as competitive factors for the development of companies. The call will finance new business projects from small companies that require the use of technologies or knowledge developed from research activity and in which the business strategy is based on the development of proprietary technology. In addition, priority will be given to incorporating people with a doctorate degree into the company in order to strengthen its absorption capacity and generation of knowledge.   

  • Helps: as a non-refundable subsidy of up to 70% of the project budget / 85% if the proposal includes the hiring of doctors.
  • Minimum financeable budget: 175,000 euros.
  • Maximum grant: 250,000 euros per beneficiary / €325,000 if the proposal includes the hiring of doctors.
  • Deadlines: starts on April 10, 2024 and ends May 10, 2024.
