BIOVEGEN Report. PERTE Agri-Food Call 2024

On August 22, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Tourism published the Order of Bases and call for the second edition of the PERTE Agro-Food, equipped with 100 million euros in subsidies directly to the sector.

These grants will finance individual projects led by private trading companies, cooperative societies and agricultural transformation societies. However, unlike the previous edition, the aid in this 2024 call will be granted on a simple concurrency, so that initiatives will be approved and paid for as they are presented until the budget is exhausted.

Relevant information about the call:

• Deadlines: the deadline for submission will begin on September 19, 2024 and end on October 21, 2024.
• Minimum budgets: R&D&I line (€500,000 SMEs and €800,000 large companies) and other lines (€200,000 SMEs and €400,000 large companies).
• Intensity of aid: Depending on the type of project and size of the company, it could reach up to 70% of the project execution budget.
