BIOVEGEN Report. INNTERCONECTA STEP 2025 Call for Proposals

The INNTERCONECTA STEP 2025 call, with a budget allocation of 90 million euros, aims to promote the development of cooperative R&D projects, under a regional and multi-sectoral approach, led by business groups, oriented towards Development of disruptive strategic technologies aligned with the priority areas defined by STEP (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform): digital technologies, clean and resource-efficient technologies and biotechnology.

Key aspects of the call:

• Total budget of €90 million for the granting of subsidies in competitive competition.
• Aid directed at business groups of between 2-6 companies (including an SME) with activities in at least two of the eligible Autonomous Communities.
• Aid intensity: up to 70% in industrial research projects (80% if there is effective collaboration between companies) and 45% in experimental development projects (60% if there is effective collaboration between companies).
• Project duration: multi-year, starting in 2025 and until 12/31/2027 or 06/30/2028.
• Deadline for application: ends he May 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time).
