BIOVEGEN Report Call for Public-Private Collaboration 2023

Last Thursday, December 28, the State Research Agency (AEI) published the regulatory bases of the new call for Public-Private Partnership Projects, successor to the previous call “Collaboration Challenges”. This is an initiative contemplated in the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2021-2023.

Key aspects of the call:

• Total proposal of 230 million euros: 140 million euros in grants and 180 million euros in loans.
• Minimum financeable budget: €400,000 per project.
• Subsidy of up to 100% for Public R&D Organizations and loans of up to 95% for companies.
• Project duration: 3 years, starting in 2024.
• Publication date: December 28, 2023.
• Application deadline: 01/30/2024 – 02/20/2024.
