BIOVEGEN report. EU funds for post-COVID recovery and opportunities for the sector

The European Union has provided an unprecedented package of funds more than 2.02 billion euros to repair the damage caused by COVID-19 and transform the economy.

In this package of funds, the European Recovery Plan-Next Generation EU, which is endowed with 750,000 million euros, of which, 140,000 million of euros are allocated to Spain (72.7 billion euros in subsidies, and 67.3 billion euros in loans). 

Given the opportunities that open for sectors related to R&D, like the agrobiotechnology sector, at BIOVEGEN we have considered it appropriate to prepare, with the collaboration of the CEOE, a summary report for our associates, which includes:
