BIOVEGEN attends the presentation event of the BNF Cereals Phase III Project of the CBGP (UPM-INIA)

On October 27, BIOVEGEN participated in the press conference to present the Project "Phase III of biological nitrogen fixation cereals (BNF)", which will be developed at the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP).

This project, led by Professor Luis Rubio, aims to achieve biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) in cereals and is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The BNF-Cereals project uses bioengineering and synthetic biology to give an elite variety of cereals the ability to carry out biological nitrogen fixation, allowing them to thrive in low or limited nitrogen conditions.

The video of the event where the project was presented is available at the following link.
