I Meeting of the INDUSTRIAL HEMP Operational Group

BIOVEGEN co-organized the First Meeting of the Operational Group for the standardization of industrial hemp in Spain, cultivation and transformations. The meeting, which took place on July 13, was held at the National Center for Biotechnology (CNB-CSIC).

The Operational Group, which has been selected in the provisional resolution proposal of phase I of the Call for Supra-autonomous Operational Groups, is aimed at developing a guide of good practices that serves as a tool for the cultivation and processing of industrial hemp in Spain, as well as the harmonization of existing legislation.

Representatives of the entities involved in phase I of the Operational Group attended the meeting to begin the development of the activities proposed by the project. In this context, BIOVEGEN participates in the Group by coordinating the activities, in addition to carrying out the dissemination plan of the results obtained by the Operational Group.
