The 1st GO NATURSMOKE webinar was successfully held!

On June 27, 2024, the «I WEBINAR GO NATURSMOKE: Discover the new disinfectant technologies for the control of phytopathogens». This innovative project aims design and develop innovative smoke products that contribute to efficient control of various phytosanitary diseases that cause significant economic losses in agricultural production.

This project was born within the framework of the 2022 Call for Aid Lines for the operation of the Operational Groups of the European Innovation Association (AEI) in matters of agricultural productivity and sustainability, whose final resolution was made public on the 24th of June 2024. This resolution has ratified the NATURSMOKE Operational Group with an investment of €291,639, coming from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the funds provided by the Government of Andalusia through the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development.

During this first webinar, which has had the participation of more than 40 attendees, the main objectives of this project have been presented, which began in April 2023 with the documentary bibliographic search phase and will continue until June 2025 with the experimental phase, focused on the design and the corresponding efficacy trials of an innovative smoke-producing product. for pest control. Furthermore, in this first session, each of the members made a detailed presentation of their business and research career and their responsibilities within this operational group.
