GOCITRUS launch day held

BIOVEGEN participated on June 18 in the launch day of the GOCITRUS Operational Group that took place at the CAJAMAR Experience Center in Paiporta (Valencia).

The event was dedicated to publicly presenting the GOCITRUS project, whose objective is to generate molecular markers that help varietal identification and management that will serve as a seed to in the future create a technical unit supported by the Citruseq genomic database. BIOVEGEN participates in the GOCITRUS project in advisory, coordination and dissemination tasks of the consortium's progress.

After the presentation day, the entities that make up the GOCITRUS Operational Group held a new meeting of the consortium, aimed at defining the contents of the report to be presented to the Ministry of Agriculture once the call for the execution of the Groups is published. Operational, as well as to analyze technical, logistical and administrative aspects of the development of the project.
