BIOVEGEN and several of its partners participated in the hybrid conference: “Analysis for the Elimination of Administrative Burdens and Attracting Investment”

On September 19, 2024, BIOVEGEN and several of its partners participated in the Hybrid session: “Analysis for the Elimination of Administrative Burdens and Attracting Investment”, held in person at the CEOE headquarters, with the possibility of following it virtually.

During this day, the agrobiotech companies present were able to present to representatives of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service various difficulties and obstacles that they encounter daily in their dealings with the General State Administration. In this way, through this communication channel, it is intended identify and reduce these administrative burdens, as well as encourage investment, promoting economic development and Strengthening the competitiveness of the agri-food sector.

In particular, specific proposals were presented at this working meeting aimed at eliminating duplication in administrative processes, modernising and improving electronic ministerial offices, adjusting funding criteria, making the justification processes for R&D&I projects more flexible and streamlining the evaluation and grant-awarding processes.

The proposals will be studied by the State Secretariat for Public Service, which collaborates with other institutions to simplify administrative burdens, study the viability of possible improvements and transfer the corresponding solutions to the corresponding ministry or entityPrecisely, thanks to this collaboration with the Administration, CEOE and CEPYME have presented More than 650 proposals in the last 16 years, generating a Estimated savings of more than 1,600 euros for companies.
