BIOVEGEN reinforces its international alliances with the Plant Intercluster (PIC)
Plant InterCluster (PIC) is an international cluster created 10 years ago in France and which acts as a network with clusters from other sectors: cereals, fruit and vegetables, ornamentals, medicinal plants, etc. Since 2019, BIOVEGEN has participated in the activities of this cluster, which since 2018 has been managed by the French agri-food cluster VEGEPOLYS VALLEY, and whose objectives include:
- Exchange of good practices in Innovation governance
- Support for technological cooperation and collaborations for innovation.
- International business development opportunities.
In this context, BIOVEGEN has recently signed, together with 9 clusters from 6 countries of the European Union, a memorandum of agreement (MoU) that represents a milestone for the consolidation of this international structure in which they also participate. AGRI SUD OUEST INNOVATION, AGROCULSTER, CLUST-ER, CTA, FEMAC, IND-AGRO-POL, INNOV'ALLIANCE, GPWH and VEGEPOLYS VALLEY. The structure therefore has representatives from France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands and Romania. This agreement means strengthening BIOVEGEN's position in the Plant InterCluster and enhancing opportunities for the development of international R&D&I projects and activities.
