BIOVEGEN participated in the Biopesticides Europe 2024 Conference

On June 5, the ACI's BIOPESTICIDES EUROPE 2024 conference took place in Barcelona, which highlighted the role of biopesticides as innovative solutions to protect crops, guaranteeing the application of sustainable agricultural practices and minimizing the ecological impact of pest control.

Specifically, this event brought together researchers, industrial leaders and other actors involved in innovation from around the world who showed the advances, challenges and opportunities that biopesticides represent.

BIOVEGEN participated by making the presentation “The role of BIOVEGEN as a Public-Private Partnership and an R&D Services Provider in Plant Production”. In this intervention, the activities and tools of the Platform were presented, including a section dedicated to the FITONET Operational Group and its objective of developing a digital environment and living laboratories to valorize plant genetic resources of agricultural interest.
