BIOVEGEN participates in the VATC Seminars: From the Laboratory to the Field
The cycle of VATC Seminars Its objective is to bring market aspects and product development closer to the research field in different areas of knowledge. BIOVEGEN participated on June 28 in the third VATC seminar focused on the Agro sector and whose objective is to offer a broad perspective and resolve doubts about the transfer process to the agricultural environment, stimulating innovation in the sector from the academic environment, knowing the agents involved. in this process, the possible public and private financing to undertake the arrival of CSIC technologies to the market, as well as current trends in agricultural matters and how to take advantage of them.
BIOVEGEN participated in this seminar with the presentation «BIOVEGEN as a catalyst for public-private collaboration in plant innovation» in which he highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration and cooperation between science and business in R&D&i and presented the MICROCLIMATT Operational Group, a project in which he participates and whose objective is to accredit the benefits of biostimulants of microalgae for more sustainable agriculture. The MicroClimatt Operating Group, with a budget of 557,816.49 euros, is co-financed by the European Union to 80% from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and 20% under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with the managing authority in charge of applying the aid being the General Directorate of Rural Development, Innovation and Agri-Food Training (DGDRIFA).
