BIOVEGEN participates in the meeting of the F4LS Horticultural Sector GT meeting
On October 13, BIOVEGEN participated in a new meeting of the Fruit and Vegetable Sector Working Group organized by the Technology Platform Food For Life Spain (PTF4LS). In it, five projects and proposals for collaboration in favor of sustainability and innovation in the fruit and vegetable sector were presented. First of all, the Ctic-Cita technology center presented its AGRITOM project, whose objective is to validate sustainable tomato cultivation by reducing irrigation water. After her, Biorizon Biotech took the floor to present its ALGAENAUTS project, which is European in nature and whose purpose is the development of a new family of biopesticides from previously selected strains of microalgae. For its part, the Vottun company explained how they apply the technology blockchain to monitor and provide traceability to the agri-food sector; and along these lines, the company Chemometric Brain presented its specific software, capable of digitizing quality control in supply chains. Finally, AGO Labs made its intervention on food safety in the fruit and vegetable sector.
