BIOVEGEN participates in the CRAG-EMPRESAS Conference "New technologies applied to agriculture"«

On May 14, the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) held the CRAG Companies conference in its Auditorium (Barcelona). The meeting brought together more than 80 professionals, researchers and representatives from 36 organizations in the agri-food sector with the aim of strengthening the connection between scientific research, the business fabric and innovation.

During the day, David Lapuente moderated the first round table, entitled ‘'From the laboratory to the field', The session featured Ana Judith Martín de la Fuente (MAPA), Natalia Urzua (ANOVE), Luis Tirado Blázquez (SEO/BirdLife), and Joan Simó Cruanyes (Casa Ametller). In this session, the experts analyzed the opportunities and challenges that new genomic techniques present for plant innovation, science policy, and their practical application in the agri-food sector.
