BIOVEGEN participates in the Plants for the Future General Assembly

On June 11, 2025, the General Assembly of the European Technology Platform took place at the Centre for Research in Agrigenomics (CRAG). Plants for the Future, a multi-sector platform representing the plant sector throughout its entire value chain: from basic research to crop production and distribution, with the aim of driving market-oriented innovation and highlighting the importance of public-private collaboration.

In this framework, the platform organized a in-person symposium and a brokerage event, with the aim of providing an overview of the R&D activities carried out by its various members. Furthermore, the aim was to foster new networking opportunities between researchers and stakeholders in the agri-food sector, placing particular emphasis on generating synergies, strengthening collaborations, and creating consortia to participate in national calls and programs linked to Horizon Europe.

In this context, BIOVEGEN, as a leading technology platform for plant biotechnology in Spain, presented an overview of its many services aimed at facilitating public-private collaboration, promoting the generation of new projects, and stimulating participation in various funding opportunities nationwide..
