BIOVEGEN participates in the Phytocosmetics and Natural Cosmetics summer course
On July 5, BIOVEGEN participated in the summer course at the University of Castilla La Mancha «Phytocosmetics and Natural Cosmetics» with presentation Biofactory plants at the service of cosmetics. This course allowed us to communicate the most recent scientific advances, approaches, techniques, tools and emerging technologies in phytocosmetics and natural cosmetics; Use of phytocosmetic treatments in different types of users and patients; establish its importance in social well-being; Awareness of the need for healthy cosmetics with a lower environmental impact.
In addition, BIOVEGEN spoke about the FitoNet Operational Group, explaining the evolution of this innovative project aimed at the development of a digital environment and living laboratories to valorize plant genetic resources of agricultural interest.
The FitoNet Operational Group, with a budget of 594,138.18 euros, is co-financed by the European Union to 80% from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and 20% under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with the managing authority in charge of applying the aid being the General Directorate of Rural Development, Innovation and Agri-Food Training (DGDRIFA).
