BIOVEGEN at BIOSTIMULANTS EUROPE 2021

After postponing its celebration as a result of the pandemic, BIOSTIMULANTS EUROPE 2021 was finally held on December 1 and 2, 2021 in Granada. The event brought together the main players in this industry for two days with the aim of discussing the latest changes, challenges and developments within the industry.

The latest updates on European biostimulant regulation, global biostimulant market, environmental effects, biostimulants for a sustainable future, microbial and non-microbial products, mode of action and much more were highlighted during the event. In addition, different experts from the industrial and academic sectors presented their case studies. One of them was BIOVEGEN, which participated with a presentation on biostimulants in which the MICROCLIMATT Operational Group was mentioned, explaining the recent creation of this innovative project aimed at improving the sustainability of agriculture through the development of biostimulants based on microalgae.

The MicroClimatt Operating Group, with a budget of 557,816.49 euros, is co-financed by the European Union to 80% from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and 20% under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with the managing authority in charge of applying the aid being the General Directorate of Rural Development, Innovation and Agri-Food Training (DGDRIFA).
