BIOVEGEN attends the webinar “Gene editing in plant production: impact, regulation and applications”

Gene editing is revolutionizing global plant production. Its application in crop improvement has opened numerous possibilities for the agricultural sector to face the great challenges it faces. Climate change, food security, sustainability, resource optimization... are just some of the challenges that genetic editing is addressing in order to respond to them.

In this context, BIOVEGEN attended yesterday the webinar “Gene editing in plant production: impact, regulation and applications” which was broadcast live by the Antama Foundation on its YouTube channel. The meeting, which included the participation of national and international experts, was aimed at analyzing the latest advances in gene editing as well as the regulatory challenges faced by these new technologies.
