BIOVEGEN Report. Call for Public-Private Collaboration Projects 2024

Last Monday, December 9, 2024, the State Research Agency (AEI) published the New call for Public-Private Collaboration Projects 2024This is an initiative included in the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2024-2027 within the State Program for Transfer and Collaboration and the State Subprogram to promote Collaboration in and between the Public and Private Sectors.

Key aspects of the call:

• Total budget of 320 million euros: €80 million in grants, €60 million in the form of a repayable FEDER advance and 180 M€ on loan.
• Minimum fundable budget: €400,000 per project.
• Grant from up to 100% for Public R&D Organizations and loans of up to 95% for private sector companies.
• Project duration: 3 years, starting in 2025.
• Among the 6 thematic priorities are: Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture, climate and environment.
• Publication date: December 9, 2024.
• Application deadline: 01/15/2024 – 02/05/2024.
