10th National Congress of Plant Genetic Improvement

September 19, 20, 21 and 22, 2022. Pontevedra

The X Congress on Plant Genetic Improvement is an ideal framework to exchange the latest advances in scientific knowledge and professional development in the different fields that make up plant genetic improvement, from the management of plant genetic resources to the most advanced technology of genetic modification, through plenary and thematic conferences and specific communications.

This Congress will be organized based on thematic sessions, which the participants will be able to choose to present their communication and the scientific committee will finally decide the distribution of the communications in the different sessions. Discussion and sharing of the latest advances in each area will be encouraged. These thematic areas are: plant genetic resources, improvement of resistance to abiotic stresses, pests, diseases, quality improvement, nutritional value, sustainable production and new uses and crops.

BIOVEGEN collaborates in the 10th Plant Genetic Improvement Congress promoting technological transfer between science and business through the organization of the «BIOVEGEN Session: Public-private collaboration and financing of R&D&i" which will take place Wednesday, September 21, from 4 to 6 p.m..
