He National Congress on Plant Genetic Improvement It will be the main meeting point for researchers, teachers, technicians, and companies linked to the field of plant breeding. The event will be held in Malaga, from September 28 to October 1, 2026, organized by the Spanish Society of Horticultural Sciences (SECH) and the Spanish Society of Genetics (SEG), together with the Institute of Subtropical and Mediterranean Horticulture “La Mayora” (IHSM-UMA-CSIC).
The aim of this congress is to address the latest advances in genetics, biotechnology and plant breeding, fostering the exchange of knowledge and collaboration between professionals from different areas.
In this context, BIOVEGEN will organize on September 30, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., a session to promote science-business collaboration, where success stories will be presented and the latest developments in crop genetics, NGTS, precision genetic improvement, etc. will be discussed.
