Online Conference on Biostimulants in Japan 2025

BIOVEGEN, In collaboration with ICEX – Spain Export and Investment and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Tokyo, organizes the Virtual conference "Biostimulants in Japan 2025", which will be held on May 14, 2025.

The event is part of the "MIDORI Strategy," launched by Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) in 2021. This national strategy aims to increase the productivity and sustainability of the Japanese agri-food system through innovation, with specific objectives such as reducing pesticide use by 50% and chemical fertilizer use by 30% by 2025. In this regard, the country is actively promoting biostimulant-based technologies as key tools to achieve these goals.

In addition, in recent years Trade relations between Spain and Japan have intensified in the field of agrobiotechnology through collaborations and strategic alliances., which reinforces the interest and opportunities for Spanish companies in the sector in this market.
