GIEC Conference “Collaborative Innovation for the Circular Economy: Vision and Challenges of the Interplatform Group for the Circular Economy”

The Interplatform Group for Circular Economy (GIEC), made up of 29 Spanish Technology and Innovation Platforms, will hold its next meeting February 25, 2026 the day“Collaborative innovation for the circular economy: vision and challenges of the Interplatform Circular Economy Group” within the framework of TRANSFERS, The European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation. The meeting will take place in the Stand G6 of the State Investigation Agency, at the Trade Fair and Congress Centre in Malaga.
The GIEC, which has among its priorities Promote efficient use of resources through public-private collaboration and R&D&I, works to harness the potential of innovation and extend the application of the circular economy model in key productive sectors.
The day will begin with the group's presentation by GREEN FUTURE PLAT. A round table discussion moderated by [name/title] will then take place. SUSCHEM, which will bring together representatives from platforms such as BIOTECH, BIOVEGEN, MANUKET, MATERPLAT, PROTECMA and SENTIATECH, who will share visions, progress and common challenges in the transition to circular models.
The event will conclude with a speech by ORCHESTRA, which will present the main conclusions and next steps of the group, reinforcing the GIEC's commitment to the integration of the circular economy into Spanish R&D&I and to strengthening synergies between industry, science and administration.
