Conference "CEBAS – COMPANIES: Science and Technology at the Service of Agriculture"

The Journey «CEBAS-EMPRESAS: Science and Technology at the Service of Agriculture» will be held next Tuesday May 20, 2025 in it CEBAS-CSIC Auditorium (Murcia)The event, organized by CEBAS-CSIC, the Cajamar Cooperative Group, and BIOVEGEN, aims to foster collaborative innovation and the competitiveness of the Spanish agri-food sector through scientific knowledge and technology.
The Conference is conceived as a tool for promoting public-private collaboration and business development based on innovation, offering the sector a meeting space that includes presentations, bilateral meetings (B2B) and activities networkingFurthermore, the event will showcase and highlight the scientific and technological potential of CEBAS-CSIC, in order to promote new opportunities between the research and business sectors.
Along these lines, the event will be structured around the three main working blocks of CEBAS-CSIC: Water and soil resources; Plant nutrition and health; and plant systems and applied plant biotechnologyEach of these blocks will feature the participation of leading research groups and companies in the sector, who will present their lines of work, research, and technological developments. The conference will also feature a Roundtable on financing and technology transfer in the Region of Murcia in which representatives from INFO Murcia, CDTI and Cajamar Innova will participate.
The event is conceived as a tool for developing collaborations and business, so participating professionals will be able to request and maintain bilateral meetings to promote collaborations and projects science-business.

The day will also allow attendees to maintain bilateral meetings with the speakers and other professionals participating in the spaces of networking enabled.
