This year, the Plant Genetic Improvement Congress will feature a Science-Business Session (Thursday, September 20, 3:30-5:30 p.m.), organized by BIOVEGEN and which will bring together researchers and companies to enhance Science-Business collaboration.

The Congress will bring together researchers, teachers, technicians and companies from the sector with the aim of offering a framework that encourages debate, dissemination and updating on advances and trends in the different fields that make up plant genetic improvement. The scientific program will cover news, innovations and information related to current trends in plant genetic improvement and will be organized based on thematic sessions. Discussion and sharing of advances in each area will be encouraged.

Goals:

  • To make known the latest advances in research in Scientific Plant Improvement to the scientific and business sector
  • Provide a favorable environment for scientific interaction
  • To offer a framework for meeting and exchanging ideas in the field of genetics, biotechnology and plant breeding
