BIOVEGEN report. GREEN DEAL Call

The European Commission has recently launched the Call for «European Green Deal» (in English, EU Green Deal), within the Horizon 2020 program.

The Green Deal Call, with a budget of 983 million euros, search as objective mobilize research and innovation to promote a fair and sustainable social transition. Projects are expected to deliver tangible results relatively quickly and show how research and innovation can provide concrete solutions within the core priorities of the 'European Green Deal'.

The call is structure in 11 areas; At BIOVEGEN we have prepared a report that includes the Challenges to which this call is directed. Of special interest to our sector are the areas:

• AREA 6: From farm to fork (€74 Million)
• AREA 7: Biodiversity and ecosystem services (€80 million)
• AREA 8: Toxic-free environment and zero pollution (€60 Million)
