Daniele Villa

Daniele Villa, is the President of Agricola 2000 since 2011. He is Test Facility Management and is in charge of supervising all the company's activities: research and projects. He obtained a PhD in Plant Biology and Productivity at the Università degli Studi di Milano in 2010 working in the team of Prof. Salvatore Roberto Pilu. Their studies focused on maize mutants involved in auxin transport, the interaction between mutations that affect plants, from dwarf phenotypes to extreme abortions or severe seedling deformations and germination failures. During his career he acquired experience in plant protection, plant pathology, plant breeding, statistics, study and project coordination, team management, financial accounting, sales and marketing.

Giacomo Scatolino

Giacomo Scatolino, has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Milan, and has more than 10 years of experience working in the sector. He has completed a Master in Renewable Energies from agricultural sources at the CNR (National Research Council) and specialized in Energy-Environment-Cultivation and Technologies for Biowaste, at the Polytechnic University of Milan, also participating in several projects (European and Italian). , making 2 publications. Always passionate about marketing, a passion that has become a vocation, since 2012 he has worked with biostimulants and biological products, supporting R&D and marketing departments, in carrying out trials and screening both in the field and in a controlled environment, also offering advice and commercial strategies, also supporting regulatory matters. He has been a speaker at various conferences and technical workshops around Europe. He is familiar with the agricultural variability of southern Europe. He has lived in Spain for 10 years.


DEMO FIELD Raw Materials. Antonio Ferrante. Milan University

Antonio Ferrante is an associate professor at the University of Milan, Italy, since 2016. He graduated from the University of Pisa, Italy, in agricultural engineering with, 110/110 cum laude in 1997. He obtained the Ph.D in advanced technology in horticultural sciences at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa in 2001, with 100/100 cum laude. In 2000, he spent a year as a visiting researcher at the Department of Environmental Horticulture, University of California, USA, in the laboratory of Professor MS Reid. From 2004 to 2016 he was a researcher/assistant professor at the University of Milan. His research topics are related to mineral nutrition and abiotic stress in crop production. He collaborates with different research groups for the behavior of crops under abiotic stress in the field. His research topics focus on physiological and biochemical changes and the evaluation of crop quality under different stress conditions. He has been scientific manager of the Research Unit in a project financed with European funds related to the quality control of fresh cut using molecular tools. He is national coordinator of the Italian postharvest working group at the Italian Society of Horticultural Sciences. He is an associate editor of Frontiers in the plant science, crop quality and product section. He is the author or co-author of more than 200 international publications in specialized journals, 150 index in Scopus with 25 h-index.

Miguel Rodríguez-Villa

Miguel Rodríguez-Villa is a lawyer, qualified in business valuation and specialized in business development and expansion. He has more than 10 years of experience in fields such as business development, e-commerce and stock investment advice in companies such as Zalando or Fidentiis Equities. He speaks German, Spanish, English and Italian, began his career at AlgaEnergy in 2017 and has been based in Italy since 2018, from where he coordinates the implementation of the international strategy in Europe.


TRADECORP. Camila Levy. Global R&D Manager

Camila Levy

Camila Levy is Brazilian and has lived in Madrid since 2013. She graduated in Agricultural Engineering (2006) with a specialization in Environmental Management from the University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP). He has a Master in Agriculture (2013) from the Instituto Agronômico of Campinas-SP (Brazil) and a Master in Project Management (2016) from EAE Business School in Spain. Camila has more than 15 years of experience in agronomy and the environment, especially in soil fertility, plant nutrition and biostimulation. She is currently the global R&D manager of Tradecorp International and works with innovative biostimulants and the development of special fertilizers, direct and indirect inventions, and European project management. In addition, Camila has a close relationship with research through the university and different research centers.


AGROTECHNOLOGY GROUP. Noemi Herrero. R&D Manager

Noemi Herrero

Noemí Herrero has held the position of R&D Manager at Grupo Agrotechnology for 4 years. Thus, since joining the company, he coordinates all R&D activities aimed at searching for new active compounds for their transformation into new bioprotection products. She studied biology at the University of Salamanca where she obtained a doctorate in Microbiology and Genetics in 2011. Additionally, Noemí continued her academic training through stays at scientific institutions such as Imperial College London, in addition to working as a postdoctoral researcher at other institutions such as the Fondazione Edmund Mach in Italy or the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. During her time at the Academy, she was always linked to the study of microorganisms with high potential as biocontrol agents, being author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and speaker at various scientific conferences.

Sergio Monzon

Sergio Monzon He has a degree in chemistry (University of Zaragoza). MBA in management and international markets (Pompeu i Fabra University). Expert program in Biostimulants and Biocontrol (Official College of Agricultural Engineers) COIAL. More than 10 years of experience in the agri-food sector, of which 6 in agriculture, mainly in formulation processes and botanical extracts.
