Interview with the BIOVEGEN Coordinator at the XXII Meeting of the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology
BIOVEGEN participated last June in the XXII Meeting of the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology. This biennial congress, sponsored by the Spanish and Portuguese Societies of Plant Physiology, is one of the main scientific meetings dedicated to the study of the functioning of plants in its basic and applied aspects that are held in the Iberian Peninsula.
During this congress, Gonzaga Ruiz de Gauna, manager of BIOVEGEN, was interviewed by Izasa Scientific, a company in the sector dedicated to the sale of products for Research, Environment and Industrial Quality Control.
The interview discussed aspects related to plant physiology, the emergence of new pests and pathogens and the need to develop technologies in Science-Business collaboration to address the challenges facing the sector. BIOVEGEN's activity was also analyzed in relation to promoting joint R&D projects and activities.
