AGRICOLA 2000 organizes “CAMPO DEMO BIOCONTROL 2020” and offers special conditions to BIOVEGEN partners

The Italian company organizes BIOCONTROL DEMO FIELD (and Conventional) 2020, an annual event aimed at field testing of products with FUNGICIDAL action on vines and table grapes. The event, organized in collaboration with the University of Milan and AgroNotizie (Digital Agriculture), will be held in two locations in Asti (Piemonte) for grapevines and in Puglia (Southern Italy) for table grapes.

DEMO FIELD BIOCONTROL (and Conventional) vine and table grape will allow companies in the sector to evaluate their products (both commercial and prototypes) under THE EPPO GUIDELINES of the European Union, under a model defined TOGETHER with the director of the department of the Agrarian Faculty of the University of Milan and supervised by its researchers.

He focus of this Biocontrol Demo Field will be Plasmopara viticola and Uncinula necator, quite widespread in the area where the demonstrative trial will be carried out, areas with high wine-growing value (Asti) and qualitative value (Puglia).

As a partner company, and to stimulate the participation of companies in the sector, AGRICOLA 2000 offers BIOVEGEN partners favorable conditions of participation:

€1,100 per Campo Demo in vine (€100 discount) and €1,200 per Campo Demo in table grapes (€100 discount), which include:

• 1 thesis (1 product – 1 vine or table grape crop – 3 replicas under EPPO protocol). Each thesis also includes a product to be tested, a reference and an untreated product.

At the end of the test, a report with the results will be delivered. During the season it will always be possible to visit the countryside, also organizing visits ad hoc.
