TRANSFIERE, European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation
February 10 and 11, 2016. Malaga
On February 10 and 11, the 5th edition of TRANSFIERE will be held, a science and Innovation forum that will once again feature the participation of BIOVEGEN. The Plant Biotechnology Platform will have a working table in which different bilateral meetings will be held with companies and research organizations to promote projects. In addition, BIOVEGEN will participate in the Round Table on Agri-Food, which will show the importance of innovation in the competitive development of the agri-food sector.
The Transfer Forum is organized by the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (Fycma), and co-organized by the City Council of the capital and the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Science and Employment of the Government of Andalusia through the Andalusian Knowledge Agency with FEDER funds. Among the driving companies are leading multinationals such as Clarke, Modet & Cº España, Telefónica, Airbus Group, and Endesa.
In addition, it has the collaboration of the Association of Scientific and Technological Parks of Spain (APTE), the Andalusian Technology Park (PTA), Top Digital Business Group, School of Industrial Organization (EOI) -with co-financing from European ERDF funds- and Provincial Council of Malaga.
The 2015 edition of TRANSFIERE had a total of more than 450 public and private entities participating, thus consolidating itself as a priority showcase for Spanish innovation by bringing together 2,050 technological profiles, fifty universities and 220 research groups.
