BIOVEGEN holds the session “Science-Business Collaboration and R&D&I Financing” during the XIV Plant Molecular Biology Meeting
The XIV Meeting of Plant Molecular Biology was held on July 4, 5 and 6 at the Hospedería Fonseca of the University of Salamanca. The reference meeting in plant biology has been in this edition organized by the Hispanoluso Institute of Agricultural Research (CIALE), the University of Salamanca in the celebration of its VIII Centennial and the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology of Salamanca (IRNASA, center of the CSIC).
The event welcomed more than 300 experts during the course of the 3 days of the congress, in which scientific developments of interest to farmers, merchants and consumers were shown. Studies at the genetic level are essential since expression is directly related to the organoleptic characteristics of agricultural products. Furthermore, environmental conditions influence gene expression patterns.
BIOVEGEN collaborated with the organizers of the Congress in its dissemination and in the organization of the “BIOVEGEN. Science-Business Collaboration and R&D&I Financing” that took place on Wednesday, July 4, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:10 p.m. The Session addressed the situation and perspectives of collaboration and financing of R&D activities between the scientific and business sectors and had the following content:
